‘’The ambulance took him.’’ Gilbert stepped into the room followed by Antonio who was red and looked like he could kill.
‘’Let me kill that mother fu-‘’ You interrupted Antonio before he could finish.
‘’She’s dead. Feel free to stab her how many ever times you want. Wait, you just left him on the ambulance alone?’’ You stared at Antonio in confusion.
‘’I couldn’t go on with him. We put his body in the elevator and took the stairs down to the lobby as fast as we could. We made it there before the elevator and everybody started screaming when the elevator door opened. They called the ambulance and they took him. He’s going to be at the Santa Maria Hospital. I didn’t go with him because I would be to blame, too many questions that I wouldn’t be able to answer without sending all of us to jail.’’ Antonio looked like he was about to start crying.
‘’What about the camera’s?’’ You asked looking at Gilbert.
‘’There are none. The hotel offers complete privacy, that’s why Isabella booked it.’’ Gilbert suddenly remembered Isabella and ran past you to the bedroom. You looked at Antonio and quickly followed. When you got to the bedroom, Gilbert was standing in front of Isabella’s body looking down at her. You say him look away but then look back. He knelt down next to her and you heard him start to cry. You went to him and stood a few feet away.
‘’I loved her so much. She was my life. He took her by her bleeding back and brought her up to his chest. He caressed her hair and kissed her forehead lightly.
‘’Gilbert I’m sorry.’’ You said. You couldn’t help but feel bad for him. He picked up her bleeding body with ease and put it on the bed.
‘’She chose her path. I tried to help, she didn’t want to be helped. I just wish, I could have just talked to her, one last time, tell I loved her no matter what she did, tell her that I couldn’t keep letting her destroy lives, that that’s why she had to die. Just one more time.’’ He stroked her cheek and went to the closet where a small bag was. He took out a white robe and put it on her carefully.
‘’ Are we still going to take her body to the cabin?’’
‘’No, please, just... let me... let me give her a proper burial. No one has to come. I can be there alone, just say goodbye to her. I want to have a place where I can go and visit her. When I need her.’’
‘’I don’t think she deserves a proper burial.’’ You said with all sincerity.
‘’I know, but you...’’
‘’Gil I doubt It’s a good idea.’’ Antonio said looking at Isabella.
‘’... I know...Just let have a moment before we take her to the cabin. We also have to get her to the car before the police gets here.’’
‘’How are we going to do that?’’ You asked
‘’Leave that to me.’’ Gilbert said as he smiled a smile full of sorrow and regret.
‘’Okay...We’ll meet you in the car. Be careful.’’ You took Antonio’s hand and led him out the door.
‘’Do you think he’ll be alright?’’ You asked Antonio once you started to heading to the elevator.
‘’Si...’’ He followed and pretty soon you were both on the first floor. You were about to walk out of the elevator when you heard the police sirens.
‘’Stay back.’’ You said as Antonio was about to step out of the elevator.
‘’We have nothing to fear, just walk out casually and head towards the front door.’’ You buttoned up your coat to cover up the blood stains, took his hand and started to walk towards the door.
‘’Sì, il suo petto sanguinava e lui è venuto dai piani superiori. Non abbiamo idea di chi egli è, che non è stato registrato nel sistema.’’ You heard a woman say to a police man as you passed casually. You made it outside and Antonio rushed you to the car. He opened the door and threw you in.
‘’Took you long enough.’’ You jumped at the sight of Gilbert sitting next to you.
‘’Holy mother of god, how did you get here so fast?’’ You asked still startled.
‘’I’ve been doing this for a while.’’ He smiled as he clutched something in his hand. You were going to ask what it was but thought to leave him be.
‘’Which way is the cabin?’’ Antonio asked.
‘’Best let me drive.’’ Gilbert said as he jumped into the driver’s seat and Antonio moved to the passenger one.
‘’How far way is it?’’ You asked
‘’About 2 hours.’’ Gilbert replied.
‘’I have to be with Lovino.’’ You said trying not to break down
‘’He’ll be fine. He’s a strong one,’’ Antonio said quietly. ‘’We’ll go when we come back, after we’ve washed up. We can’t just go see an injured man with blood stains without raising  suspicions.’’
‘’Okay.’’
The drive to the cabin was long. At least it felt long. No one said  a word. The roads had grown empty and deserted over time. You hadn’t seen any form of light, besides the moon, in over half an hour.
‘’We’re here.’’ Antonio was sleep. You were going to wake him up. You opened the door to the car and accidentally hit Gilbert in the stomach.
‘’I’m so sorry.’’ You said as you closed the door and went to his side.
‘’It’s fine. I’m fine’’ He said looking down at you. You looked away from his scarlet eyes. He took the bottom of your chin and lifted up your face to his level.
‘’Did she suffer?’’ He asked still looking into your eyes.
‘’Not enough.’’
‘’ It’s sort of addicting actually. The way you talked and walked while you were getting ready to kill her. You looked.... angel like as you did it. Lovino’s a lucky guy. So was Ludwig. To have such a wonderful, beautiful women by their side. What I wouldn’t give to have you. To hold you... ‘’
‘’Ludwig... I’m sorry. In some way I feel guilty for the way Isabella turned out. It seems she was always in my shadow. Always told she you would be lucky if she turned out like me. If she had just been treated like I was treated she would have been perfect for you.
‘’But she was. In a way I was a psychopathic killer as well. Not just her.’’
‘’I’m sorry.’’ You kissed his cheek softly and went to wakeup Antonio.
‘’Tony c’mon, lets get this over with.’’ He woke up. his hair was all over the place. He looked adorable.
You turned around and saw the cabin. There was no light. None at all. Gilbert motioned for the door. You all went in the cabin. Gilbert turned on a candle with his lighter and the room was emitted with light. There was one large king sized mattress, a table and two chairs. Also a closet in the right wall of the place. It was simple. Made of log and everything else of oak wood.  Gilbert took Isabella body and placed it on the bed then shoved Bridget’s body in a corner.
‘’Can I have a moment?’’ Gilbert asked.
‘’Sure.’’ You and Antonio walked outside and closed the door.
‘’I feel really bad for him.’’ You said quietly breaking the silence.
‘’Me too. I really wish he finds the right place for himself. A good woman, has children and-‘’
‘’Ton- To- To...- TONY THE CABIN!!!!’’ He turned around to a blazing cabin. The flames erupting from everywhere.
‘’GILBERT!’’ Antonio  yelled as one of the flaming logs from the roof fell to the ground.
‘’We have to get him out of there.’’ Antonio ran to the car and took out a blanket. He ran to the front and drenched the blanket in water from a gallon. He told you to stay put as he ran into the flames.  You started up the car as quick as you could. It was about 6 minutes. 6 dreadful minutes, but Antonio finally emerged from the flames with a body on his shoulders.
‘’GET IN THE BACK!’’ He yelled. You jumped into the back as he opened the door. Gilbert was burned. His entire body was mix of burnt flesh and blood. His hair was burned but not all of it. Antonio laid him in the back with his head on your lap. He got into the car and took off. You looked back at the burning cabin. This is what he had wanted. To die with her.  The flames tore down the cabin. Everything he had once loved and you had hated was dying...again. Burnt to hell.
‘’ANTONIO HURRY PLEASE. PLEASE.’’
‘’IM TRYING’’ There was no point I doing anything. He was burnt. You touched his cheek carefully it was the only part of his face that was still intact. He started to cough.
‘’Gilbert...’’
‘’GILBERT IT’LL BE OKAY.’’
‘’My ....- .... everything ...hurts. Make it stop...’’
‘’Gilbert we’ll be at hospital. Please just bare with me.’’
‘’You should have left me...’’ He groaned loudly. He was in pain.  Very much pain.
‘’Antonio hurry!’’ The car was going at about 115 miles per hour. Half an hour past and you finally saw streets lights. The nearest hospital was about five ,minutes away.
When you arrived at the hospital  yout saw the sign.
‘’Santa Maria hospital. This is where Lovino is.’’
‘’Yeah.’’
‘’We’re gonna get sent to jail..’’ You felt tears well up in your eyes and follow the path if the ones you had cried moments before.
‘’No. Its Italy, not America...  They don’t think much about the people who saved the lives of a patient. They thank you.’’
In a matter of 2 minutes Gilbert was being taken to the emergency room and the nurses were checking Antonio up. He had some burns and scratches but overall he was fine.
‘’Do you know anything about a Lovino Vargas? He was brought here a few hours ago. I... would like to see him if its possible.’’
‘’Was he the patient that was stabbed?’’ The receptionist asked kindly
‘’mhm.’’ You mumbled quietly.
‘’Come this way.’’ She led you down a deserted hallway and past many rooms until finally you reached a room with a wooden door. Number 20866k. You opened the door. Lovino was lying  on the bed closest to the window. His eyes were open but he looked lost. You ran to him and lightly jumped on the bed startling him.
‘’________________.’’ He looked at you and then yelped. You got off of him and he smiled.
‘’You’re okay.’’
‘’Now that you’re here I couldn’t be better.’’ He smiled again.
‘’Im sorry.’’ You said
‘’Why did you go. I told you to stay out of trouble ___________. One simple request.’’
‘’I’m not the best at following orders Lovino.’’ He put his hand on your cheek and the quickly pressed his lips fiercely on yours. The kiss was full of passion and lust. Desire. You kissed him back trying to match the same intense power he kissed you with but failed and eventually let him dominate. He pulled away holding you close to him. He smelled of cologne.
‘’Ti amo mi amore.’’ He whispered into your ear.
‘’I love you too.’’
